Paradise Meadows Poultry Farm
Family-run poultry in Black Creek since 1976
For nearly 50 years, Gord and Tracy have been raising chickens with care, experience, and a hands-on approach that puts animal health, food quality, and community first. Everything we do happens right here on the farm — from raising the birds to processing them — so you know exactly where your food comes from and how it’s handled.
Free-Run Chickens — Healthy by Design
Our chickens are free-run, meaning they move freely inside spacious, government-inspected barns designed for proper growth and wellbeing.
After decades of experience, we’ve found this approach produces healthier birds with fewer parasites and illnesses than outdoor free-range systems. Clean, controlled environments protect the flock while still allowing natural movement and social behaviour.
We feed non-GMO, non-medicated feed, and we raise birds that are calm, content, and well cared for — which shows in the quality of the meat.
Raised and Processed on Site
One of the most important parts of our farm is our fully licensed poultry abattoir, located right here in Black Creek.
We raise and process our own birds on site, and we also provide poultry processing services for other local farmers. All birds are inspected, and strict cleanliness standards are maintained at every step. Local food needs local infrastructure — and having a licensed abattoir in the community supports safer, fresher, and more transparent food production.
